Our Story
The Reggio Registers’ story begins back in 1978, when our founder first realized that high-quality metal grilles like those cast 100 years earlier were difficult, if not impossible, to find in the U.S. Clearly, there was a need for a manufacturer devoted to creating one-of-a-kind registers that were designed and built to last – and just like that, Reggio Registers was born.
What started out as just one product – a high-quality reproduction of an antique floor register – has grown to include one of the widest selections of historic-inspired registers that customers can find. Throughout our 35 years in business, we’ve added hundreds of sizes, designs, and materials to our product line, offering registers in countless variations and styles to meet the personal tastes of each one of our customers.
Today the Leominster, MA home of Reggio Registers is a state-of-the-art facility where the specially-designed molds are created and the laser cutter does its precision work. Each register is carefully inspected and powder coated with a durable and attractive finish. Every single product that comes out of our facility is lovingly hand finished.

Lifetime guarantee
Our products, which are individually handcrafted in the U.S., are guaranteed for life, meaning we’ll replace them at no cost if they are defective. Wear and tear is normal especially in high-traffic areas or damp conditions. Reggio Register is not responsible for normal wear and tear, scratching, or damage cause by household chemicals or physical abuse.
Premium materials
Reggio uses only premium quality materials for our grilles, registers, and louvers. Made from materials like solid brass, cast iron, aluminum, and steel, we hand inspect and hand finish every one of our metal registers in our workshop.
American craftsmanship
For over 35 years, Reggio Registers has handcrafted grilles and registers in iconic, original designs for fine homes, historic sites, universities, and other distinctive spaces. True to our heritage, our premium quality grilles and registers are still proudly handcrafted in the U.S.
Widest in-stock size variety
Besides having the largest variety of sizes in-stock and ready to ship, we also offer the option to create grilles in custom sizes, as well as wood grilles in standard and custom sizes in 45 premium and exotic wood types.
